Biman’s domestic flight makes emergency landing

A domestic flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines made an emergency landing at Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport an hour after taking off from the airport this morning.

The Saidpur-bound flight of the national carrier made the emergency landing at the airport around 11:25am following a glitch in its hydraulic section, said Airport Director Wing Commander Towhid-ul-Ahsan.

The flight took off for Saidpur airport at 10:21am with 60 passengers on board, he added.

The ground team took all kinds of necessary measures for emergency landing, Towhid-ul-Ahsan said.

No injury was reported in this incident.
