Health experts at a continuing medical education (CME) said around two crore people have been suffering from kidney related ailments in the country.

They suggested a set of preventive measures, including keeping high blood pressure, diabetes and body weight under control, for avoiding fatal consequences of the disease.

 With Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd being scientific partner of the CME, medicine department of Prime Medical College, Rangpur, organised it on the premises of the college in Rangpur city yesterday.
