Complete beautification of Ramna Park, JS body recommends

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Public Works Ministry today recommended completing infrastructural development of Ramna Park as per the original design.

They also asked the authorities concerned to beautify the lake according to the design.

The recommendations were made at the 12th meeting of the committee chaired by chairman Engineer Mosharraf Hossain at the National Parliament, according to a press release.

The committee also recommended starting modernisation work of United Nations (UN) Park in Panchlaish residential area of Chattogram.

The park, meant to be a recreation centre, was also given a no objection certificate from Chattogram City Corporation authorities.
