A mobile court of Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) yesterday realised Tk 2.50 lakh from the owners of different business establishments and a hospital in Chittagong city on various charges.

CDA Executive Magistrate Khin Wan Nu led the drive from Probartak Intersection to No-2 Gate areas.

The court fined owners of Munni Plaza Tk 50,000 and Mimi Supur Market Tk 1 lakh for various charges including constructing structures occupying parking spaces, CDA officials said.

A total of Tk 1 lakh was also realised as compensation from the authority of Aaraf Hospital Ltd for occupying footpath, the officials added.
