Girl burnt in Narsingdi dies at DMCH
A girl who was set ablaze by unknown criminals in Narsingdi earlier this month succumbed to her injuries at a Dhaka hospital early today.
Victim Fulan Rani Barman, 22, was daughter of Jagendra Barman of Birpur area in Narsingdi town. She lost the battle for life after 13 days.
Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of the hospital’s police outpost, told The Daily Star, some unknown criminals poured kerosene and set her ablaze on April 13.
“She died around 3:00am today,” he said.
