Police recovered the body of a man from a road in Darussalam area of the capital last night.

Hiplu, 45, son of late Muslem Mia, was a resident of Jahurabadh area, Selimuzzaman officer-in-charge of Darussalam police station told The Daily Star.

Miscreants might stab the victim dead on the Mazar road in the area as injury mark of sharp weapon was found in his chest, the OC added.

The body was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
