Man stabbed dead in Keraniganj

A man was stabbed to death by criminals in Keraniganj upazila of Dhaka early today.

The identity of the victim could not be ascertained immediately.

Sarwar Hossain, officer-in-charge (operation) of Keraniganj Model Polce Station, said a group of assailants entered a two-storey building in Patkajor area and stabbed the victim indiscriminately around 1:30 am, leaving him dead on the spot.

On information, police went to the spot and recovered the body.

The body was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

The body bore several injury marks, said OC.
