NSU student dies in Hatirjheel road accident

A student of North South University was killed after being run over by a bus at Hatirjheel in the capital on Friday night.

Locals took the victim -- Fahim Rafi, 20 -- to Khidma Hospital and informed his family members.

Later, Fahim's father took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to his injuries around 10:00pm.

The body was kept at the hospital morgue, said Sub-inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.

Fahim was a second-year student of the economics department of the university and son of Moniruzzaman from South Bashabo in Sabujbagh.
