Preliminary test results of BCS published
Public Service Commission (PSC) yesterday published the preliminary test results of the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations with 13,830 candidates coming out successful.
"These candidates have qualified for the written test. The dates for written tests will be announced soon," AYM Nesar Uddin, controller of examinations (cadre) of PSC, told The Daily Star.
The results were available at www.bpsc.gov.bd. The candidates can also get the result by sending an SMS through Teletalk phone numbers. For this, one has to type BCS 36 registration number and then send the text to 16222.
The qualified candidates will have to download the BPSC form-2 from the website and submit the filled-up forms along with necessary documents from 10:00am to 4:00pm from February 22 to March 8, according to the PSC.
Around 2.11 lakh candidates sat for the 200-mark preliminary test on January 8 for 2,180 posts of general, technical and professional cadres.
