RMG Workers' Pay Disparity: German envoy wants peaceful solution
Germany ambassador to Bangladesh today said that the issues regarding the current movement by the ready-made garment workers over the disparity in their new wage structure should be resolved peacefully.
“There must be a peaceful mechanism to resolve these issues,” Peter Fahrenholtz wrote in his twitter account re-twitting a news published by The Daily Star in its online version regarding today’s workers’ agitation.

Readymade garment workers waged their demonstration for the sixth day today. They blocked Dhaka-Tangail highway at Ashulia point and also vandalised 20 to 25 vehicles.
Nearly 10-15 people were injured when police charged batons and used water cannon to disperse the protesting workers.
