The US embassy in Dhaka has cautioned applicants against submission of counterfeit documents to obtain visas.

Both the applicants and the brokers who produce and distribute false, forged documents will face arrests, says a press release.

The embassy said there had been a steep increase in the use of fraudulent documents to obtain US visas and in the arrest of such frauds.
