Teenager drowns in Jatrabari while swimming
A tenth grader drowned while swimming with friends at Jatrabari, Dhaka this evening.
The victim was identified as Jonny, 18, a student of City Corporation Ideal High School.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Jonny was swimming with friends at Dhalpur South City Corporation staff quarter pond around 7:00pm when he drowned, Bachchu Mia, the sub-inspector in-charge at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp, told The Daily Star.
His brother Md Rony told The Daily Star that Jonny was a student of class 10 at City Corporation Ideal High School.
