Worker crushed under machine in Rayerbagh

A worker died today, being crushed under a large machine while unloading from a truck in Dhaka’s Rayerbagh.

The deceased was identified as Dulal Mia, 35.

The incident took place around 4:00pm when the workers were unloading a large metal-cutter machine, Abdul Jalil, officer-in-charge of Kadamtoli Police Station, said.

The victim was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors pronounced him dead. The body was kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
