Unidentified assailants stabbed a 20-year-old scrap-collector youth to death in Dhaka’s Sutrapur area this afternoon.

Deceased Jalal, was taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in critical condition where on-duty doctors declared him dead.

His body bore stab marks in the abdomen, said Sub-Inspector Bacchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost. Police are also yet ascertain who killed him or why.

Officer-In-Charge of Sutrapur Police Station, KM Ashrafuzzaman, told The Daily Star they heard about the incident and sent a police team to investigate the matter.
