2 members of 'new militant outfit' held in Dhaka

Detectives claimed to have arrested two members of a new militant outfit with firearms in Dhaka.

“A team of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested the chief and financer of the organisation and recovered three pistols, 16 bullets and explosives,” said a short message service (SMS) floated by Dhaka Metropolitan Police this morning.

The identities of the arrestees and name of the organisation will be disclosed at a press briefing of DMP at its media centre later in the day, reads the SMS.
