2 sisters’ throat-slit bodies found in Jamalpur
Police recovered the throat-slit bodies of two sisters from their house in Sadar upazila of Jamalpur this morning.
The deceased were identified as Bhabna, 14, a class IX student of Puglai Mannafia High School and Nurunnahar Rukna, 10, a class II student of a Kindergarten, daughters of Shahin, a Malaysia expatriate.
Witnesses said locals informed police after they found the throat-slit bodies of Bhabna and Rukna lying on the floor inside their house at Deoliabari village around 7:00am.
On information, law enforces recovered the bodies and sent those to Jamalpur Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy, said Mohabbat Kabir, officer-in-charge (OC) of Narayanpur Police Investigation Centre.
