3 HC judges appointed to Appellate Division
Three High Court judges have been appointed to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.
The judges -- Justice Mirza Hossain Haider, Justice Md Nizamul Huq and Justice Md Bazlur Rahman -- will be sworn-in tomorrow morning, Law Secretary KSSM Zahirul Haque Dulal told The Daily Star.

The law ministry today issued a notification in this regard after President Abdul Hamid appointed the judges to the apex court, the secretary said.
With them, the number of the Appellate Division judges stands nine.
The three judges have been appointed to the Appellate Division as the apex court is going through a shortage of judges for more than two years.
