34th BCS gazette issued, joining on June 1

The much-waited gazette notification of 34th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination was published this evening.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued the notification.

According to the gazette, the 2020 candidates, recommended for recruitment in different government cadres, will have to join the offices on June 1.

The final result of the 34th BCS examination was published on August 29, 2015, whereas the circular was issued on February 7, 2013.

However, the 6,584 other candidates who have passed the written tests and viva were not recommended for the lack of vacant posts.

A total of 9,963 candidates were successful in the written tests. Later, they faced viva voce in between January 28 and June 1 of this year.

A total of 2,21,575 candidates filed applications for the 34th BCS examination.
