Cuet shut sine die after BCL infighting

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet) has been closed for indefinite period following a factional clash of Bangladesh Chhatra League on the campus today.

The male students will have to vacate the university’s dormitory by 5:00pm while the female students by tomorrow morning, our Chittagong correspondent reports quoting Fazlur Rahman, assistant director of Public Relation Office.

The Cuet authorities took the decision in an emergency meeting after the two BCL faction clashed over establishing supremacy on the campus, leaving at least four activists injured.
