Decomposed body of school boy found in Feni

Seven days after a school student went missing, law enforcers recovered his decomposed body in Sadar upazila of Feni last night.

Deceased Arafat Hosen Shubho, 12, was the son of Saudi expatriate Imam Hossain hailing from Kashimpur village in the upazila, our Feni correspondent reports quoting Officer-in-charge of Feni Model Police Station Abul Kalam Azad.

Arafat, a student of Class-8 at Mother Care International School near Temhuni Bazar in the area, went missing on the evening of March 31.

Police arrested a person for his alleged involvement with the incident last night and based on his information, police recovered the body from an area near the Temhuni bazar, the official added.

The body was sent to Feni Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
