4 killed in Tangail road crash

Four people were killed in a head-on collision between two trucks on Bangabandhu Bridge link road in Kalihati upazila of Tangail today.

Three of the deceased were identified as Jibon, 24, Mamun, 27, and Munna, 28.

Mosharaf  Hossain, officer-in-charge of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station, said a stone-laden truck collided head on with a truck in Soratoil area around 7:00am, leaving three people dead on the spot.

Another victim succumbed to his injuries at Tangail General Hospital, he added.
