Khaleda chairs standing committee meeting

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia held a meeting with her party's standing committee members this evening to discuss country’s latest political situation and to fix the party’s next course of action.

With Khaleda in the chair, the meeting started at her Gulshan office around 8:45pm.

The highest policymaking body of the party is expected to discuss the upcoming municipality elections and the latest development in the country.

BNP standing committee members Moudud Ahmed, Lt Gen (retd) Mahbubur Rahman and Brig Gen (retd) ASM Hannan Shah, among others, are attending the meeting.
