Bangladeshi peacekeeper dies in Central Africa
A Bangladeshi peacekeeper has died from electrocution while he was on duty in Beleko area of Central African Republic.
The deceased was identified as Soinik Akiqul Islam, of Hatia upazila in Noakhali, said a press release of the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR).
Atiqul Islam was electrocuted while he was on duty at Beleko around 9:30am (local time) yesterday, the ISPR said.
Later, the deceased was sent to a hospital located in Bouar area where attending doctor declared him dead around 12:45pm (local time), it read.
