Internet connections declined 6.48 lakh in Nov

The mobile phone operators were dealt a setback of its data users in November this year as they have lost 6.48 lakh active internet connections in the month, the telecom regulator published a report today.

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission in its monthly report stated that total active internet connection declined to 9.18 crore from 9.24 crore at the end of November.

The industry observed the incident of internet connection decline second time as it earlier watched such incident in November 2016.

Of the numbers, mobile internet connections were 8.62 crore in November while broadband connections 57.35 lakh and WiMax connections 61 thousand, the BTRC report reads.
