A man died and two others sustained injuries when a wall of an under-construction mosque in Bamonhazra village of Gobindaganj upazila collapsed during a storm on Friday night.

The dead is Azizul Huq, 80, of the village.

Locals said a storm lashed the area when people were offering Esha prayers in the mosque. Suddenly, the wall collapsed, injuring three devotees.

They were rushed to Bogra Medical College Hospital in critical condition, where Azizul Huq succumbed to his injuries.
