Pro-liberation platform Sector Commanders Forum – Muktijuddho '71 today demanded to start trial of "195 identified Pakistani war criminals" of 1971.

It also urged the government to put effective international pressure on Pakistan so that the country returns due share of assets Bangladesh deserved from Pakistan.

The demand was voiced in a press statement signed by the forum's Chairman Maj Gen (retd) KM Safiullah Bir Uttam, Vice-chairman Lt Col (retd) Abu Osman Chowdhury and Secretary General Haroon Habib.

They also urged the government to scale down diplomatic relationships with Islamabad following the "audacity" Pakistan showed regarding the ongoing war crimes trial.
