Professor Yusuf Ali takes charge as UGC chairman

Professor Yusuf Ali Molla, the senior-most official of Bangladesh University Grants Commission, has taken charge as its chairman.

Prof Yusuf took the charge after Professor Abdul Mannan’s term as the chairman came to an end, according to a press release signed by Dr Shamsul Arefin, director of media and public relations department of UGC.

Yusuf Ali Molla joined as a full-time member of the UGC on May 28, 2015.
