PM to return home from London Saturday

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to return home on Saturday on completion her official visit to the United Kingdom (UK).

A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the prime minister and her entourage will depart Heathrow International Airport in London for Dhaka around 6:00pm (local time) on Friday, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The plane is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 10:20am on Saturday.

After her arrival, Sheikh Hasina, also president of the ruling Awami League, will start her office from Sunday, the sources added.

The prime minister reached London on May 1 on an official visit to the UK.
