Rail minister sick, flown to Singapore
Railways Minister Mujibul Haque was taken to Singapore at the wee hours of today as he fell sick due to gastrological problems.
Kibria Majumder, personal secretary of the minister, said Mujibul Haque was flown to Singapore around 2:30am from the Combined Military (CMH), Dhaka as his condition was unchanged.
Earlier on Thursday night, the minister fell sick in his hometown Comilla. He was immediately admitted to a local clinic, 'Moon Hospital', and then moved to the Dhaka CMH early Friday.
Mujibul Haque who got married just last year at the age of 68 suffered internal bleeding due to the gastrological problems.
