SC’s first Iftar honouring president, PM

The Supreme Court for the first time has arranged an Iftar party for June 27 in honour of the president, prime minister and Speaker.

Chief Justice SK Sinha has already invited President Abdul Hamid for the Iftar party to be held at the administrative building premises of the apex court.

The CJ will send invitation to PM Sheikh Hasina and Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury within a day or two, SC sources said.

The authorities have already sent a letter to Dhaka Metropolitan Police for ensuring security at the SC premises during the Iftar party.
