Section 144 imposed in Bhanga, Faridpur

Bhanga upazila administration has imposed Section 144 at Gharua govt. Primary school premises in Gharua union under Bhaga upazila in Faridpur.

The rule will be effective from 6:00am on April 25, Saturday and will continue till 8:00pm on the same day.

Bhanga upazila Jubo League supporting Awami League presidium member and former lawmaker Kazi Zafarullah and supporters of Mojibor Rahman Nickson, MP, have scheduled separate meetings at the school premises tomorrow afternoon.

“The rule has been imposed to stop the scheduled meetings and restrain gatherings,” Md Alomgir Hossain, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Bhanga, told our correspondent.

“The rule, banning all kinds of meetings and rallies, has been announced in the locality through miking,” he added.
