Arnob will be performing at the World Music Day 23 concert in Kolkata on June 21. The programme will take place at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre and he will be seen alongside renowned celebrities including Sharmila Tagore and Gulzar. 

The "Chiltey Round" singer announced the news on his Facebook account, yesterday. 

"I'm Super excited to be a part of this celebration, 'Tagore our way' on world music day. This means a lot to me, especially  growing up in Santiniketan with all of his songs. His songs have nurtured my soul which had led me to be where I am today," said the singer.

" I am so glad to also represent Bangladesh with a song which captures the true spirit of our country and connects our lives with rivers and the bond between us," added the singer. 

"Thank you Sourendro and Soumyojit for initiating and designing such a wonderful event.

I'm so honoured to share the stage with such legends. Thank you so much for inviting me. The joy of creating something together and sharing that with everyone is something so important and special to me. Tons of love and respect," concludes his post. 

Other singers who will be performing at the concert also include Ajay Chakraborty, Rupam Islam, Mohit Chauhan, among others.
