For almost four years, Aurthohin had remained inactive due to Bassbaba Sumon's health issues. After Sumon's recovery, the band once again began performing live, at the end of last year.

Now, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Aurthohin has returned with a new single from their upcoming album, "Phoenix Diary 1".

Originally, Aurthohin frontman and Bangladeshi music legend, Bassbaba Sumon had announced that the work on the album had been progressing well and that they would be releasing it sometime this year.

Later, fans also learned that a single—from the new album—titled, "Amar E Gaan", would be released on November 16 at 12:00 am.

In order to make the occasion even more memorable, Samsung hosted an exclusive premiere of the song's music video, yesterday. The grand event was held at Samsung's BTI Landmark showroom in Gulshan, fans—who were selected through a competition—were able to attend the exclusive premiere of "Amar E Gaan".

Also present at the event were Bassbaba Sumon and the members of Aurthohin. Ashfaq Bipul, the director of the music video for "Amar E Gaan", along with Shakib Chowdhury of Cryptic Fate were also present at the event.
