Chirkutt records song in same studio as Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney
Bangladeshi band Chirkutt is currently in the US on tour, and in the midst of it, they had the opportunity to record music at the historic Westlake Recording Studios in west Hollywood, Los Angeles on June 12.
Built in the 70s, this studio has produced albums by many world-famous artistes, including Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Imagine Dragons, The Chainsmokers, Whitney Houston, Alanis Morissette, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Nsync, Van Halen, Justin Bieber, Usher and many more. The recording studio is still graced by famous artistes where they work on their albums.
Moreover, the king of Pop, Michael Jackson's studio album "Thriller" had entirely been made at this studio. Westlake also has a designated room, dedicated to the memory of MJ. Chirkutt took to its social media page to post about the photos the band members had taken and pen a lengthy note, thanking individuals who had made their visit to the iconic studio possible.
The band had reportedly re-recorded their famous song, "Ahare Jibon" from the 2017 film "Doob". The newly recorded version will soon be published on streaming platforms, for fans who had shown their love for this song from different corners of the world.
Chirkutt's "The Legacy Tour, USA 2023" kicked off on May 8, marking the band's third, full-fledged international tour. After their concerts in Boston, New York, Chicago, Michigan, Austin, Dallas, San Francisco, they will be performing in Oklahoma on June 16, Seattle on June 18, Virginia on June 24 and again in New York on June 25.
