Coldplay achieved a historic milestone by hosting the most-attended tour in music history. The British band set a Guinness World Record for selling the highest number of tickets for its ongoing "Music of the Spheres World Tour" in Ahmedabad, India. This accomplishment surpasses the attendance of Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour.

The British rock band has sold more than 10.3 million tickets for its "Music of the Spheres World Tour", which began in March 2022 with a performance in Costa Rica. With over eight months left on the tour, the band has the potential to break even more records, according to Guinness World Records.

Coldplay's attendance figures saw a major surge following their performances in India earlier this month. The band began their India leg with three concerts at DY Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21. The second leg featured two shows at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26, each drawing over 130,000 fans.

Following their highly successful performances in India, Coldplay's next concert is set for April in Hong Kong, followed by a show in Seoul before continuing to the United States.

Although Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has fewer attendees, it remains the highest-grossing music tour, earning $2.07 billion. However, according to Guinness World Records, Coldplay has a strong chance of surpassing this record as well.
