Elita Karim has released her new album "Chini Der Chamoch" to end the year on a musical note. The 4-track EP includes lyrics by the esteemed Shahid Mahmud Jangi and compositions by renowned musician Pilu Khan. Under the banner of Aajob records, the launch event took place yesterday at a café in the capital. 

At the album launching ceremony, popular musical personalities Naquib Khan, Bappa Mazumder, Asif Iqbal, Dilshad Nahar Kona, DRockstar Shuvo and Shafiq Tuhin, amongst others, were present at the event. 

The album includes four tracks – "Prem Hobe Din Sheshe", "Chini Der Chamoch", "Bhalobashi", and "Projapoti". Amzad Hosen Bappy handled the mixing and mastering for all the songs. The tracks are now available for streaming globally on platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer, and Shadhin Music.

Chirkutt drops new song ahead of album release

Elita expressed her excitement about the album, saying, "It's a dream come true to work on a full album featuring songs written and composed by the artistes who inspired me growing up."

Pilu Khan added,"Elita is one of my favourite singers, and I truly enjoyed creating music for her. I hope the audience will love it too."

Shahid Mahmud Jangi was also excited about the latest collaboration, "After 40 years of making music with Pilu, it's exciting to have Elita join us on this journey. I trust these songs will stand the test of time and make a lasting impression."
