Falguni Pathak performs with Neha Kakkar just days after ‘wishing to sue her’
The 'feud' between Falguni Pathak and Neha Kakkar, regarding the remake of "Maine Payal Hai Chhankai", created an uproar on social media. Recently, a promo was shared by the Sony TV channel, where the two singers were seen grooving together in the Navratri special episode of Indian Idol season 13.
Earlier on, Falguni Pathak slammed Neha for ruining her song's innocence, saying that she wanted to 'almost puke' after hearing Neha Kakkar's single, "O Sajna". The 'Dandiya Queen' also stated that she 'wished' to sue Neha Kakkar for ruining her original song.
In the teaser shared by Sony, it can be seen that Neha is welcoming Falguni as they commence the theatre round of garba night. The teaser also shows Neha grooving to Falguni Pathak's latest song "Vasaladi".
The teaser received mixed reactions online, with many fans calling out Falguni and Neha for faking a feud as a 'publicity stunt'.
One social media user wrote, "It's amazing how people can stoop to such low levels to make their song famous. First, they fight on social media to grab everyone's attention, then they go on to perform together on TV as if nothing ever happened between them."
Another user wrote, "These people do everything to gain public attention."
"O Sajna", which was released under the banner of T-Series, stars Neha Kakkar, Priyank Sharma, and Dhanashree Verma in the music video. The song is a remake of Falguni Pathak's "Maine Payal Hai Chhankai", which was released in 1999.
