Bangladeshi musician Fuad Almuqtadir, based in the US, has kept his musical roots firmly planted in Bangladesh, staying connected to its music scene, friends, and fans. The culmination of this relationship was once again evident through his recent "December Tour," during which Fuad, along with his band, Fuad and Friends (FNF), performed across multiple venues throughout the month.

The grand finale of this tour took place at the BPL Music Fest in Chattogram, offering a spectacular performance that left fans and critics hailing it as one of the country's most vibrant and powerful live shows. Audience members noted how the atmosphere transformed as soon as FNF hit the stage—their music, lights, fashion, and energy created an unforgettable experience. Many praised the band for elevating the standards of live music in Bangladesh.

Fuad's unique blend of nostalgia and modernity in his music continues to mesmerise audiences, and for this tour, he brought in several talents from New York to heighten the experience. DJ Sanjoy, a well-known name in both Bollywood and international music circles, and popular Bangladeshi expatriate singer Muza were among the guest artistes, bringing diverse styles to the table and further enriching the performance.

The credit, according to Fuad, goes to his talented musicians and their dedication. "It's the strength and devotion of each team member that makes Fuad and Friends what it is," he said.

The band members echoed this sentiment, emphasising that no other music director could create such magic on stage. "Under Fuad's direction, every piece of music turns to gold. Every show is a new experience for the audience," said one band member.

Fuad has been instrumental in shaping the careers of many artistes over the past two decades. Looking ahead to the new year, Fuad confidently shared his plans, saying, "I want to keep working with young artistes, learn from them, and help them grow. Every year, I hope to introduce fresh talent, both from within Bangladesh and among the non-resident Bangladeshi community."

Fuad's core team includes sound engineer Zakir Hossain (FNF's permanent sound engineer), management and operations specialist Tasneem Batool, vocalists Hasib, Tashfee, and Anika, guitarists Pritom and Wasi, drummer Amzad Hossain, percussionist Mithun Das, bassist Pavel, and guest artistes Ananda Shikdar, Kamrul Hasan, and Rahin Haldar.
