Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has finally arrived in Bangladesh, to specifically perform at a concert in Dhaka titled "Echoes of Revolution." The Pakistani singer touched down at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at midnight on Friday.

He is currently staying at a five-star hotel, where a group of Dhaka University students greeted him with flowers.

The concert, hosted by the platform Spirits of July, is scheduled for this evening at the Army Stadium in Dhaka.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will perform his hit songs without any fee at the concert, which aims to support those affected by injuries and fatalities during the July uprising.

Various arrangements have been made for the concert, including discounted tickets for students, toll-free access to the elevated expressway, and waived fees for the Army Stadium.

Along with musical performances, the concert will include a graffiti exhibition focused on the July Revolution, stage dramas, and the Mughdo water zone, among others. 

Alongside Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the "Echoes of Revolution" event will showcase performances by popular local bands such as Artcell, Chirkutt, Aftermath, and members of Silsila. Rappers Shezan and Hannan will also perform at today's event. 

Prior to coming to Bangladesh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan posted a video message about his upcoming concert. In the clip, he shared, "Warm greetings to my courageous Bengali brothers and sisters. As-salamu alaykum. Responding to the students' invitation, I will soon visit your wonderful country, Bangladesh, to perform for all of you."

"To support the families of those affected by the July uprising, I will perform at a charity concert. This event, organised by courageous students, will take place at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in Dhaka. All proceeds from the concert will be allocated to assist the families of those who were injured or lost their lives during the uprising," he concluded. 

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is also set to perform at the BPL t20, Music Fest at Sher-E-Bangla national concert stadium on December 23. 

The musician is renowned for his qawwali and ghazals. He gained immense popularity for his playback songs in Bollywood films. Among his popular songs are "Zaroori Tha", "O Re Piya", "Jag Soona Soona Lage", "Tere Bin", "Teri Ore", "Main Jahaan Rahoon", "Tere Mast Mast Do Nain", "Tum Jo Aaye Zindagi Mein", and "Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji", among many others.
