Bangladeshi artist Firoz Mahmud joins US artist residency programme as juror

Bangladeshi visual artist Firoz Mahmud is set to take part in a prestigious artist residency fellowship programme under the guidance of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art's Assets for Artists department (Studios at MASS MoCA).
Firoz Mahmud has been selected to serve as a jury member for this US-based programme, which curates and presents ten diverse art exhibitions on both national and international stages.
Hailing from New York, this Bangladeshi artist's journey has been marked by recognition and exhibitions around the globe. His exceptional visual artworks have been showcased at renowned events, such as the Bangkok Art Biennale, Congo Biennale, Ostrale Biennale, Lahore Biennial, Setouchi Triennale (BDP), Aichi Triennial, Sharjah Biennale, Cairo Biennale, Echigo-Tsumari Triennial, Immigrant Artist Biennial NYC, Geumgang Nature Art Biennale, and Asian Biennale.
Additionally, Firoz Mahmud received a workspace grant from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council for the period of 2022-23, further highlighting his contributions to the art world.
The Bangladeshi artist is currently gearing up for his upcoming solo exhibition at the Art Gallery of Pace University, downtown Manhattan, New York.
