BSA celebrates International Theatre Day 2023
Today, World Theatre Day 2023 is all set to be celebrated at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA). This time, the programme will honour renowned actor and theatre personality, Mamunur Rashid.
The event will be taking place at the National Theatre Hall of BSA around 5 pm today. Furthermore, the International Theatre Institute's Bangladesh Centre, Path Natok Parishad, and Group Theatre Federation will also be present at BSA to celebrate the occasion.

Previously, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the thespians who were honoured at the programmes could not receive their crests and medals.
This year's programme of World Theatre Day will be handing out crests and medals to the previous year's honorees as well. Previously, Mannan Hira (2022), Lily Chowdhury (2021), along with Milon Chowdhury and Poresh Acharya were honoured.
