Art enthusiasts in Dhaka are in for a treat as Visually Bimurto, a duo exhibition featuring the works of celebrated artists Habibur Rahman and Shamsad Rahman, is being held at Gallery Chitrak. The inauguration ceremony, led by renowned artist Rafiqun Nabi, took place last Friday (January 3) at 5:00pm.

Curated by Efat Razowana Reya, "Visually Bimurto" highlights the remarkable synergy between the two artists, who share a background in architecture and visual arts. The showcase is a testament to their innovative approach, blending architectural design with visual aesthetics to craft immersive experiences.

The curatorial statement describes "Visually Bimurto" as more than just an art exhibition: It is a convergence of artistic visions and cultural ideas, inviting viewers to engage deeply with the interplay of design and nature. By merging their architectural expertise with graphic and digital elements, the Rahmans present a transformative exploration of art and design.

This exhibition marks a significant milestone for both artists, as it is their first collaborative exhibition in Bangladesh. Attendees can expect to experience a captivating journey through their artistic evolution, reflecting the seamless integration of natural forms into structured compositions.

"Visually Bimurto" is a landmark event in Dhaka's cultural calendar, offering a fresh perspective on the fusion of art, architecture, and design. Art lovers and the general public are encouraged to attend and immerse themselves in this unique artistic endeavour.

The exhibition will run until January 15 and will be open to visitors daily from 11am to 8pm at Gallery Chitrak in Dhanmondi.
