The 21st Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) will be held from January 14th to 22nd of 2023. Organised by Rainbow Film Society, the eight-day-long event will be staged at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Bangladesh National Museum Auditorium, Alliance Francaise de Dhaka, and Star Cineplex.

State minister of Foreign Affairs, Md Shahriar Alam will be presiding over the inauguration ceremony next Saturday (January 14) at 4 pm as chief guest of the event.

The event will screen 252 films from 71 countries under 10 categories including "Asian Cinema Competition Section", "Retrospective", "Wide Angle", "Tribute", "Bangladesh Panorama Section", "Cinema of the World Section", "Children Films Section", "Women Filmmakers Section", "Short and Independent Films Section" and "Spiritual Films Section".

This time, amongst the Bangladeshi films, "Hawa", "Paap Punno", "Damal", "The Beauty Circus", and "Deshantor" alongside many others will be screened at the 21st DIFF.
