From "'Bossgiri" to "Bidrohi", Dhallywood's popular couple Shakib Khan and Shobnom Bubly worked in 12 movies together in the last 6 years. Their cracking chemistry soon transformed into a whirlwind romance when the pair fell in love during the filming of "Bossgiri".

Recently, the couple announced that they are parents to a 2-and-a-half-year-old baby boy, Shehzad Khan Veer.  The couple never publicly acknowledged their relationship but Bubly's 10 consecutive movies lead to speculations that something is brewing between the pair.

Bossgiri

Shakib Khan and Bubly's first project was an instant hit among the mass audience. Bubly's fierce performance help her win the Best Newcomer at the Meril Prothom Alo Awards and Channel i Digital Media Best Actress Award, for her performance in the film.

Shakib Khan's Dhakaiya accent and his gravity-defying movement made it an entertaining potboiler. The Shamim Ahmed directorial movie ignited a sizzling romance between the couple. "Bossgiri" was released on Eid-Ul-Azha in 2016.

Superhero

Ashiqur Rahman's "Superhero" showcases Shakib Khan and Bubly on a secret mission as they try to find the laptop, which hides the intelligence secrets of military officers. Both the actors fight off against each other as Bubly betrays the trust of our tough but honest secret agent Shakib Khan.

"Superhero" was released in 2018 and the makers have stated that it is the first ever Bangladeshi movie to be shoot in Australia.

Shakib Khan's "Password" was embroiled in controversy when many people claimed that it was a spinoff of the South Korean film "The Target." However, director Malek Afsary denied the allegations and claimed that he would offer 10 lakhs to anyone who could prove the claim of plagiarism. This marked Shakib Khan's first innings as a producer in five years.

The movie was shot in beautiful locations in Turkey, and the songs garnered immense popularity all over social media.

Bir

Kazi Hayat's 50th movie, "Bir", is a political thriller that showcases Shakib's quest for revenge, as he wants to kill Misha Sawdagor and his corrupted goons, who are unleashing terror in Dhaka. The movie was produced under the banner of SK production and it got an overwhelming response.

Bubly flew off to the US after completing the shooting of "Bir" which was released in 2020. The actress went off abroad, to give birth to their baby son Veer, in America.

Bidrohi

Shakib Khan and Bubly's "Bidrohi" was released on Eid-Ul-Fitr this year. The film got a lukewarm response in theatres as Dhallywood King was busy producing his upcoming movie "Rajkumar" in the USA.

"Bidrohi" showcased Shakib Khan beating and berating goons with his 'fists' while breaking the heart of his beloved Bubly in the movie for another girl called 'Maya'.
