Aamir Khan to return to acting next year

After a temporary hiatus from showbiz, Aamir Khan is all set to make a comeback with a new production, which will be released during Christmas, 2024. 

The actor has confirmed an upcoming feature film through his production company, Aamir Khan Productions. 

According to media sources, Aamir will appear on screen this time as an actor in the film, which is still an untitled project. Filming will begin in January 2024 and is currently in pre-production. 

"Exclusive Aamir Khan saves Christmas 2024 for his next film. The actor production number 16, featuring Samir Khan in the lead, will be released on December 20, 2024 on the occasion of Christmas. More information will be shared as soon as possible," Indian Film Analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter.

Aamir Khan considering 'Ghajini' sequel

If all goes as planned, Aamir's project would collide with Akshay Kumar's eagerly anticipated "Welcome" sequel. According to speculations, the third installment of the Welcome franchise, titled "Welcome To The Jungle," will star Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, and Jacqueline Fernandez. Reportedly, Akshay will also reunite with Raveena Tandon in the film.
