Apurba starrer ‘Mayashalik’ premieres today

The premiere show of the web-film, "Mayashalik"—starring popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba— will take place today, at 6:30 pm, in Bashundhara City's Star Cineplex. Following the premiere, the web-film will also be released on the OTT platform, Binge. "Mayashalik" has been directed by Shihab Shaheen.

"People say that only one moment is enough to love someone, but is it really true? The web-film 'Mayashalik' will try and answer this question. At its core, the film is a mysterious and sweet love story. In this project, I have played the character, Ovi," shared Apurba.

"Me and the director, Shihab Shaheen, have a great understanding between us. We both knew what we wanted from each other and from the project. I hope the audience will enjoy 'Mayashalik'," added Apurba.

The story of "Mayashalik" revolves around a young, retired military officer, who had to leave the army due to physical injuries. To get rid of his depression, he moves away from the chaotic city life, to a place where there is no mobile network. That's when some mysterious activities begin to take place around him, and he eventually falls in love with a mysterious girl.

The film has also cast Sadia Ayman, Imtiaz Barshon, and Shahiduzzaman Selim in vital roles.

Previously, Apurba and Shihab Shaheen worked together on another web-film, "Jodi Kintu Tobuo".
