Netflix has unveiled the first-look teaser of the upcoming spy thriller "Khufiya", which is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, today (August 29). In the teaser, Azmeri Haque Badhan looks stunning, fierce and mysterious, while donned in a saree.

Inspired by true events, the film is based on the popular espionage novel "Escape to Nowhere", by Amar Bhushan. The snippet released by the streaming platform looked promising.

Badhan is returning

The teaser starts with Tabu looking afraid, the scene then switches to snippets of Badhan looking fierce in a saree. Ali Fazal was also featured in the clip.

"Khufiya" revolves around Krishna Mehra, a RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) operative who is assigned to track down the mole selling India's defence secrets. It stars Ali Fazal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi among others.
