Bhagyashree reunites with Salman Khan after 33 years
Salman Khan and Bhagyashree created magic on-screen when they came together for blockbuster hit "Maine Pyar Kiya" in 1989. After 33 years, the duo reunited for Salman's Eid release "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" where Bhagyashree made a cameo and the internet is calling it the best scene in the entire film.
The cameo showcased Bhagyashree as his ex-girlfriend, with flashback scenes and the background score from their super hit movie "Maine Pyar Kiya." The actress looked stunning in an off-white saree while Salman gave his signature smile. Bhagyashree's son, actor Abhimanyu Dassani, and her husband, former actor Himalaya Dassani, both appeared in the film's sequence.
Fans loved the cameo scene, immersed in the nostalgia of it. One of the fans shared the scene on Instagram with the caption, "First love," which was shared by many users.
Another fan also wrote an iconic dialogue from the film "There's no place for sorry and thank you in friendship", with a second fan echoing, "This sequence was better than the entire rest of the movie".
Sooraj Barjatya's "Maine Pyar Kiya" showcased Salman Khan as Prem while Bhagyashree donned the role of Suman. The film was a box office success when it was released on December 29, 1989.
On the other hand, "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan," was released in theatres on April 21. The film centres around a good-hearted man played by Salman Khan, who chooses not to marry in order to care for his brothers.
