Bridget Jones returns in new trailer for ‘Mad About the Boy’
Bridget Jones is back and facing a new chapter in "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy", as seen in the trailer released recently. Renée Zellweger reprises her role as the ever-relatable Bridget, who now grapples with the heartbreak of losing her beloved Mark Darcy (Colin Firth).

Despite the loss, Bridget's journey takes an optimistic turn as she explores two unexpected romantic prospects. On one side, there's Mr Wallaker (Chiwetel Ejiofor), the dependable teacher at her children's school, and on the other, Roxster (Leo Woodall), the younger, more unpredictable suitor.
As the fourth film in the beloved series, "Mad About the Boy" reunites fans with familiar faces, including Hugh Grant as Daniel Cleaver, Jim Broadbent, Gemma Jones, Emma Thompson, and more. Newcomers Leila Farzad, Isla Fisher, and Nico Parker also join the cast, adding fresh dynamics to the "Bridget Jones" universe.
Based on Helen Fielding's novel, with a screenplay co-written by Fielding, Abi Morgan, and Dan Mazer, the film is directed by Michael Morris.
"Mad About the Boy" will premiere exclusively on Peacock on February 13, 2025, bringing Bridget's heartfelt, humorous journey to streaming audiences in the US.
