Channel i to celebrate Nayak Raj Razzak’s 81st birthday

The upcoming January 23 will be celebrated as the 81st birthday of the Nayak Raj, Razzak. Celebrating the occasion, channel i plans to feature a three-day long event, airing the legend's famed films and works. The programme will begin from tomorrow and continue till January 24.

Starting from January 22, a special programme will be aired, commemorating the memory of the legend. Afterwards, the audience will enjoy Razzak's famed "Boro Bhalo Lok Chhilo"(1980).

The morning programme "Gaan Diye Shuru", will air a special episode in memory of the Nayak Raj, and the evening programme, "Ebong Cinemar Gaan" will be featuring songs from his films.

On the second day, Channel i will air the actor's film "Abhijan" (1984). Following that, the fans will see the Channel i show, "Antaranga Babita", hosted by Abdur Rahman, where the actress will share some of her memories with the legendary actor Razzak at 12:05 pm.

At 12:30 pm, Nayak Raj Razzak's son Samrat will share some his fond memories regarding his father with noted actor Syed Hasan Imam, in the programme "Taroka Kathon".  

On the last day, the acting legend's directorial film "Ayna Kahini" will be appearing at 3:30 pm.

Razzak was born on January 23, 1942 in Kolkata, India. He migrated to Dhaka in 1964 with his family during the partition. The artiste stepped foot in the world of acting with stage plays in the seventh grade, and never looked back.

 He passed away on August 21, 2017.
